After most of the night (ugh) in the hardware studio, one thing has become terribly apparent: the Airas and Volcas are too small for me to easily use! And programming sequences with a magnifying glass to see the fercking buttons (especially on the Airas, wtf) is like getting teeth pulled with rusty pliers and no painkiller.
This means moving to larger units like the Boutique gear, Behringer synths, or a full groovebox that's a big one. Bigger, alas, means more money too.
Eurorack suddenly doesn't seem so stupid, after all.
I still have my DAW setup, I'll use that for now while I experiment.. a used Electribe 2 might do as a starter. At least I could use it to sequence other gear, and it's not $1500 freaking bucks!!
